Mangaluru: Eight arrested in two separate cases of drugs peddling

Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested eight people in connection with two separate cases of drug peddling on Tuesday, June 29.

The arrested in the first case are Abdul Rehman and Sadiq from Bengre. Officials seized 2.275 kg of ganja and a Honda Activa scooter from them.

In another case, the arrested accused are Mohammed Amin from Bejai, Roshan Yusuf from Falnir. Later the police raided a flat at Attavar and four persons were arrested namely, Tamim from Bolar, Abdul Armaan from Bunder, Afwan from Jeppu and a final year medical college student Prajwal from Bidar.

Officials seized 2.168 kg of ganja, 9 MDMA tablets, 2 gram brown sugar and three two-wheelers from them.
