Mangaluru: Fire breaks out at main office of Bank of Baroda

Mangaluru: A major fire broke at the main office of Bank of Baroda at Hampankatta on Wednesday, September 30 resulting in huge losses.
As per sources, the incident took place at around 5 am and electronic equipment in the office was burnt down.
It is said that a short circuit caused the fire. Five air-conditioners and a computer were burnt down in the fire.
Fire tenders reached the spot and operation took place to put off the fire. The branch will be shut down due to the mishap and service will be continued to be provided at the founders’ branch at Jyothi circle and Falnir branch.
