Mangaluru: As the fishing season in Dakshina Kannada district began on Tuesday, September 1, fishermen are getting ready for deep-sea fishing in Mangaluru
Also, migrant fishermen from other states are also returning after a long time. The labourers engaged in deep-sea fishing were from Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Odisha and other area
Parshwanath, deputy director, Fisheries Department said that there are no restrictions on the fishermen labourers from outside the state and they will have to undergo tests only if they are symptomatic.
The boats that were anchored on the shore for repair have already been brought back to the port. Initially, only a few boats will leave for fishing, and they will return after ten days
