BJP National Spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia has alleged that Karnataka is being governed by “five and a half CMs.”
He made these remarks during a press conference held at the BJP office in the city on April 19.
D K Sivakumar, Dr G Parameshwara, Priyank Kharge, Dr Yathindra, and Randeep Surjewala are function like chief ministers, Bhatia claimed. “In their midst, none are listening to Siddaramaiah. So, Siddaramaiah remains a ‘half CM'”, he added.
Bhatia further highlighted the achievements of the Modi government, claiming that India has witnessed significant development across various sectors in the past decade. “In the last ten years, the country has witnessed all-round development on every front and has emerged as the 5th largest economy in the world. Every citizen has benefited from the schemes of the Modi government. The BJP government is giving more attention to national security,” he said.
However, Bhatia did not mince words when criticizing the Congress party, accusing it of harbouring “anti-India, anti-Hindu, and pro-extremist” sentiments. He alleged that the party’s ideologies are in opposition to those of the BJP, stating, “If they (Congress) love who we (BJP) hate, they hate who we love.”
