Mangaluru: Five arrested for attempted murder of Bajrang Dal activist

Mangaluru: Five members of a gang have been arrested for attempting to murder a Bajrang Dal activist at Moodushedde on Thursday, October 7.
The accused have been identified as Imran, Rizwan, Rameez, Mustaf, Shah Rukh and Ashfaq. They had tried to murder Vivekananda, a Bajrang Dal activist on Thursday.
It is said Vivekananda along with few others had assaulted Ashfaq for putting up a poster of Congress leader Mithun Rai.
In retaliation for the assault, the gang attacked Vivekananda. However, Vivekananda saved his life by entering a nearby shop. The video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Also, police have arrested Manoj Moodushedde and Veeresh Moodushedde in the assault case.
