Mangaluru: Rowdy sheeter Pinky Nawaz and four other persons have been arrested for posing a death threat to dignitaries who participated in the inaugural of a bus shelter in memory of Deepak Rao.

Acting on the complaint filed by Lokesh, a Katipalla resident, Suratkal police arrested Muhammed Nawaz alias Pinky Nawaz (25), Muhammed Faizal (21), Muhammed Safwan (23), Muhammed Niaz (20), and Muhammed Mustafa (22). A sword and four mobile phones in possession of the arrested were confiscated by the police.
