Mangaluru: The government has canceled the transfer order of Mangaluru City Corporation Commissioner Anand C.L.
Anand assumed office as the Commissioner of Mangalore City Corporation on June 28, 2023.
Meanwhile, on July 4, the government issued an order transferring him without assigning him a new position. Ravichandra Nayak, the Special Land Acquisition Officer of the Tunga Upper Project in Shivamogga, was appointed as the Commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation.
However, due to the transfer order being issued before the completion of his tenure, Anand C.L. appealed to the government. Subsequently, his transfer was canceled.
Anand C.L. will continue as the Commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation.
