Mangaluru graffiti case: Accused remanded to ten days of police custody

Mangaluru: The two arrested in connection with the pro-terrorist slogans which appeared at two places in the city, were remanded to ten days of police custody on Wednesday, December 9.

Shaarik and Maz Munir Ahammed, both natives of Thirthahalli were arrested in the case by the police.

The mobile phones from the two accused and a laptop belonging to Maz have been handed over to experts to retrieve the data and the information in the laptop is likely to help the police to strengthen their case.

Meanwhile, the police officers probing the case held a meeting under the leadership of city police commissioner Vikash Kumar, to discuss the angles in which investigations can be held.
