Mangaluru: On July 11, a bike-borne man stopped by the Sankesh road bend within Kinya gram panchayat, pulled out a plastic bag full of garbage, threw it near the road, and sped away as quickly as he arrived.
However, little did he know that his offense would be caught on camera. The villagers clicked a photo of him throwing the waste, uploaded it on social media, and gave a complaint to Kinya gram panchayat.
Police officials found the two-wheeler number on the basis of the photo and registered a case against the vehicle owner, Badruddin Irfan Ullal.
That is not it, Panchayat officials then made him pick up the waste he had thrown and also fined him.
