Mangaluru: Hampanakatte well will be presevered says MLA Kamath

Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath on Friday said that the archaic well that was discovered at Hampanakatte here will be preserved.
He said this after visiting and inspecting the well.
“The well which is historically significant as was called ‘Appanna katte’ should be preserved. We will be having discussions with the district and Smarty City officials to protect the well,” Vedavyas Kamath added.
Mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar was also present during the visit.
