Mangaluru: Heavy rain damages houses, inundates major roads

Mangaluru: The heavy rainfall has thrown life out of gear in Dakshina Kannada, causing damage to life and properties in the affected areas.
A house in Marakada was damaged and roads in Kottara Chowki has been inundated due to overnight downpour.
Apart from that, many areas in the city were battered by heavy rain, leading to water logging in many places.
IMD has issued a yellow alert for three days from August 29.
