Mangaluru: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Mudipu has been selected under the prestigious ‘PM SHRI’ scheme, a significant initiative of the Union Government.
The announcement was made by Member of Parliament Captain Brijesh Chowta, who expressed pride in the school’s selection, calling it an honor for the Dakshina Kannada district.
Speaking on the occasion, Chowta explained that the Prime Minister’s School for Rising India (PM SHRI) scheme aims to elevate over 14,500 schools across India, transforming them into model institutions. The selected schools will serve as role models for other educational institutions in their vicinity.
