Mangaluru: Jewellery shop owner commits suicide

Mangaluru: A 62-year-old man allegedly committed suicide by jumping into a well at Ramnagara in Kinnigoli here on Wednesday.
The deceased Umesh Acharya, a Kinnigoli resident was the owner of the ‘Sridhara Acharya Jewellers’ shop. It is gathered that he was in mental distress and thus took the extreme step.
Acharya was the former president of Kinnigoli Rotary club and honorary president of Vishwabrahmana Seva Sangha.
