Mangaluru Junction gets new Foot Over Bridge

Mangaluru: The construction of a new Foot Over Bridge (FOB) at the Mangaluru Junction Railway Station, that would connect platforms 1 with 2 and 3 on the northern side of the station has been completed.

The construction of the FOB began in October 2019 and the total cost incurred is around Rs 1.55 crore.

The FOB has been built in accordance with the Railway Designs and Standards Organization (RDSO) specifications.

It has a protective metal mesh on both sides to prevent contact of people with the overhead electric wires.
