Mangaluru-Kasargod bus fare hiked by Rs 11

Mangaluru: The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation has increased the prices of bus tickets entering the State from Mangaluru.
The bus fare between Mangaluru and Kasargod, which earlier was Rs 57, now costs Rs 68.
The ticket prices between Mangaluru and Talapady, near the border with Kerala, remains the same.
More the 50 per cent of buses that used to ply on this route before the COVID-19-induced lockdown are back.
A Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation official said that the number of passengers is comparatively low however the numbers are increasing every day.
