Mangaluru: In a major respite to commuters, the inter-state bus service between Mangaluru-Kasaragod has finally resumed from Friday.
Since early morning, buses of both Karnataka and Kerala road transport corporations have been ferrying passengers.
The resumption of regular bus service has given respite to thousands of commuters — students and office goers alike — across the border who have been demanding early resumption of bus service.
The regular bus services were suspended for the past few months due to the high covid positivity rates in Kerala. All private vehicles crossing the state borders were also inspected at Talapadi.
