Mangaluru: Lightning strike damages main tower of Church in Fajir

Mangaluru: A lightning strike damaged the main tower of our Lady of Mercy Church at Fajir on the outskirts of the city on the night of Friday, May 7.
As the incident happened during the night there was no one present in the church and thus no report of injury or fatality has been reported.
Reportedly, the area received heavy thunder and lightning with rain on the night of Friday.
