Mangaluru: The Maravoor bridge on the Phalguni river here is likely to be opened for light vehicle traffic from July 30.
A pillar of the bridge had sunk on June 15 after which it was closed for traffic and structural repairs started on it soon.
Reportedly, a test will be conducted on the bridge on July 29 after which a decision to open the bridge to traffic will be made.
