Mangaluru Lokayukta SP Lakshmi Ganesh transferred; CA Simon to replace him

Mangaluru: Karnataka Lokayukta, the state’s anti-corruption ombudsman, has ordered the transfer of officers of the Superintendent of Police rank internally.

Mangaluru Lokayukta SP K Lakshmi Ganesh has been transferred to a vacant position in the Bengaluru Lokayukta office as Superintendent of Police. C A Simon will succeed him as the next Mangaluru Lokayukta SP. Until Simon assumes office, Dy SP Cheluvaraju will be the in-charge Mangaluru Lokayukta SP, a notification said.

Mangalore Lokayukta division has the jurisdiction of the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

C A Simon had earlier served as the SP of Dakshina Kannada Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) police.
