Mangaluru: Man arrested for desecration of Kordabbu Daivasthana

Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested a man in connection with the Kandavarapadavu Sri Kordabbu Daivasthana desecration case on Monday, March 21.
The arrested accused has been identified as Sahul Hameed (27), resident of Gurpur Kaikamba.
The incident came to light on Monday morning when locals found a blood-stained match box and Rs 200 currency note near the daivasthana.
Police officials examined the CCTV footage and found Hameed entering the daivasthana and vandalizing the temple property.
The accused was arrested and it was then revealed that the bloodstains found at the temple were of Hameed as he had suffered hand injury where his tendon was cut on broken glass.
The accused is currently in police custody.
