Mangaluru: Man arrested for peddling MDMA

Mangaluru: Police arrested a man while peddling banned drugs near a shendi (toddy) shop in Vamanjoor Maidan here on Tuesday.
The arrested man is Dawood Farveez, 37, from Permannur. The police seized 10 grams of MDMA and cash of Rs 810 from him.
The operation was led by Dhanya N. Nayak, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Mangalore South Sub-Division. Officers from the anti-narcotics team and Mangaluru Rural Police Station, including PSI Arun Kumar D., also took part in the operation.
The police are continuing their investigation into the case.
