Mangaluru: Man arrested for posting obscene comments about Hindu gods on Instagram

Police officials have successfully apprehended a 22-year-old man for allegedly writing offensive and obscene comments about Hindu gods on Instagram.
The accused identified as Mohammed Salman, a resident of Bikarnakatte Masjid Hill Road, was taken into custody following a complaint lodged against him.
The incident came to light when concerned citizens reported the offensive remarks made by Mohammed Salman on his Instagram account. The complaint prompted swift action from the authorities, and Police Inspector Satish M.P. of Mangalore City CEN Police Station, acting under the guidance of Commissioner of Police Kuldeep Kumar Jain, led the operation to arrest the accused.
Following the arrest, Mohammed Salman was produced before the 7th JMFC (Judicial Magistrate First Class) court to face charges related to his derogatory comments about Hindu deities.
