Mangaluru: Man assaulted over Shivaji sticker on bike

Mangaluru: On February 7, six unknown people assaulted a youth near Pabbas in the city’s Lalbhag area objecting to the Chhatrapati Shivaji sticker on his bike.

The victim has been identified as Deepak.

The accused came on two bikes at 9:45 pm near Pabbas, where they picked up a fight with Deepak over Shivaji’s sticker on his bike and assaulted him, informed Police Commissioner N Shashikumar who visited the hospital where the victim was admitted.

Deepak suffered a two-inch long cut on his forehead.

Police are checking CCTV footages to identify and catch the culprits.
