Mangaluru: Man dies after being hit by city bus at Padavinangady

An unidentified pedestrian lost his life after being struck by a city bus on Wednesday night near Padavinangady in the city. The tragic event occurred around 8 PM when the man was attempting to cross the road.

The unfortunate accident transpired due to the alleged negligence of the city bus driver, who reportedly operated the vehicle in a reckless manner. Upon impact, the pedestrian suffered severe injuries to his body and head, leaving him in critical condition.

Promptly, he was rushed to Wenlock Hospital for immediate medical attention. However, despite the efforts of the medical staff, the victim tragically succumbed to his injuries later that night.

The identity of the deceased individual remains unknown at this time, and further investigations into the incident are anticipated.
