Mangaluru: Man dies due to suspected dengue

Mangaluru: The number of people dying due to suspected dengue in Dakshina Kannada is rising and a person lost his life due to suspected dengue in Mangaluru on Monday. The deceased is identified as Sudhakar Acharya (53), a resident of Pandeshwar, who was employed at a private finance institution.

Mr Acharya was suffering from fever since a few days and was admitted at a private hospital. However, he failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last on Oct 7th. He is survived by his mother, wife, son and daughter.

The health department officials have informed that there is no information positively claiming that Mr Acharya’s death was due to dengue.
