Mangaluru: Man killed in road mishap

Mangaluru: A 55-year-old man died in a road accident that took place near Gurpur pre-university college on NH 169 on Tuesday, November 21.

The deceased identified as D S Rahim, a resident of Addoor was the former treasurer of Kanjila Kodi Badrul Huda Juma Masjid and the founder member of the Muslim Welfare Association.

Rahim sustained head injuries after a tipper truck rammed into his motorcycle when he was proceeding towards Addoor. He succumbed to his injuries en route to the hospital.

He is survived by his wife, three sons, and two daughters.
