Mangaluru: Man loses Rs 36,890 in unauthorized transfer using Aadhaar information

Unidentified individuals leveraged a thumbprint and an Aadhaar card copy, initially procured from the Sub-Registrar’s office during a land sale transaction, to unlawfully withdraw a substantial sum of Rs. 36,890 from a victim’s bank account.
The victim, alarmed by these dubious transactions, promptly filed a complaint with the local police authorities.
The case has since sparked an official investigation, as law enforcement agencies work diligently to unearth the identities of the culprits behind this audacious act.
