Mangaluru: Man sexually harasses woman, cheats her of Rs 1.5 cr; Arrested

Mangaluru: A man has been arrested for sexually harassing a woman and cheating her of Rs 1.5 cr in Mangaluru.

The arrested accused has been identified as Fayaz (30), a native of Vittal Byrikatte.

It is said that Fayaz and the victim got to know each other in the year 2012 when she was living with her family in Surathkal. Later on, they became good friends.

However, four years ago the victim shifted to an apartment in the city and the accused began sexually harassing her and also cheated her of Rs 1.5 cr.

She later filed a complaint at the nearby police station and the accused has now been arrested.
