Panambur: A search operation is underway after information was received about a man jumping into the Kolur river here.
Passers-by informed the police about a person jumping into the river after which Kavur and Panambur police personnel arrived at the spot.
No clear details have emerged of the man who jumped into the river. The people who informed the police about it left the spot, hence, the fire brigade and rescuers received information only from the police.
