Mangaluru: Man transporting meat with permit assaulted by miscreants

Mangaluru: Few miscreants waylaid vehicle transporting meat from Kudroli slaughterhouse and assaulted the driver of the vehicle Sunday, on June, 21.

The victim is identified as Rashid, a resident of Kudroli.

Though Rashid was transporting 200 kg of beef in his tempo to the shop of Zakir, who owns a beef stall in the Kankanady market, with a required legal permit, few miscreants waylaid vehicle near assaulted him and damaged his vehicle.

The miscreants also poured Kerosene over the meat so that it cannot be sold.

Following the incident, the president of meat traders’ association Ali Hassan demanded strict action against the accused.
