Mangaluru: MCC Jt Comm warns of fake FB acc in his name seeking money

Mangaluru: Dr Santosh Kumar, the Joint Commissioner of Mangaluru City Corporation in a Facebook post stated that a fake account in his name on the social networking platform has been seeking funds.
He urged the public to be cautious and heed to any calls or requests from that account.
His Facebook post stated: “Hi Friends, This Single Page of Facebook Account I am handling..Fake Facebook Account has been created to extort MONEY, THREATENING, and other UNLAWFUL ACTIVITY to get things done. If YOU, get any Suspicious Email, Phone Call, Friend Request from Other Facebook Account…..Kindly, Don’t Respond. Be Careful; Beware of Impersonation…. Thank you. From: Dr. G. Santosh Kumar, Joint Commissioner, Mangalore City Corporation.”
