Mangaluru: Middle aged man found dead at State Bank; murder suspected

Mangaluru: A middle-aged man was found dead near the football ground at the State Bank area of the city on Tuesday evening. Police suspect it to be a case of murder.

The deceased has been identified as Janardhan, a resident of Ammunje in Bantwal. He worked as a cab driver, sources said.

It is suspected that Janardhan was killed following a scuffle with unidentified persons who tried to snatch his mbile phone while he was sleeping at the football ground.

Pandeshwar police are investigating the matter.
