Mangaluru: Minor girl found pregnant after repeated sexual assault; accused arrested

Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested a man in a case of sexual assault and exploitation of a minor girl, which resulted in her pregnancy.
The accused has been identified as Abdul Gafoor (20), a resident of Jokkatte. It is said that he used to jump over the compound wall, enter the house through her balcony door and then engage in sex with her.
On June 9, the said girl complained of stomach ache and was taken to the hospital, doctors then found that she was pregnant. She is now admitted into the hospital.
A case has been registered in the nearby police station.
