Mangaluru: Man attacks women at training centre; arrested

Mangaluru: A man attacked and injured three women at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) center located at Karangalpady near Jail compound on Monday, September 20.
The accused has been identified as Naveen (31), working as a peon at Kundapur court. Police officials have arrested the accused and a case has been registered.
The injured women have been identified as Reena, Gunavathi and Nirmala. The reason behind the attack is not known.
It is said that the man entered the campus and in the pretext of meeting staff to give a gift, he attacked the women.
Barke police officials reached the spot and conducted an inspection.
