Mangaluru: MLA Khader challenges Sangh Parivar to introduce anti-‘Love Jihad’ law

Mangaluru: MLA UT Khader has again dared Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal and the State’s BJP government to enact an anti-Love Jihad law.

He was speaking in the context of a recent attempt by VHP and the Dal workers to protest outside the house of former MLA BM Idinabba.

Idinabba’s granddaughter-in-law was a Hindu who converted to Islam after marrying the former MLA’s grandson and was questioned by National Investigation Agency sleuths last week over her support for Islamic State in her social media posts.

Speaking to reporters here Khader questioned that the VHP and the Dal are nobody to question the presence of a family relative in Idinabba’s house even when her parents did not question it.

He added that the NIA probe into the issue must finish and it is wrong to politicise the issue until then.
