Mangaluru: MLA Vedavyas Kamath distrubutes 1000 Modi Kits to rickshaw drivers

Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath on Thursday, April 16 distributed 1000 Modi Kits to rikshaw drivers amid nation-wide lockdown imposed to prevent COVID-19 spread.
‘Modi Kit’ was initially launched by BJP Delhi general secretory Kuljeet Singh Chahal. It contains all the essentials required for a family such as – 2kg oil, 2kg rice, 1kg dal, 1kg sugar, 200gm red chilli, turmeric, mustard and coriander, 250gm tea, 1 kg salt, 500 gm chana, 4 detergent soap, 1 bath soap, 5 kg wheat flour and 4 packets Parle-G biscuit.
Vedavyasa Kamath took to Twitter with photos of distribution and wrote, “1000 Modi Kits were distributed to Rickshaw Drivers Today. I am trying in all possible ways to reach the needy and will definitely make sure MODI Kits reaches to the deserving ones.”
