Mangaluru: MP Brijesh Chowta nominated to Defence Ministry Advisory Committee

Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada MP Brijesh Chowta has been nominated as a Defence Ministry Advisory Committee member.

This committee, chaired by Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Singh, includes 14 Lok Sabha members, six Rajya Sabha members, and two ex-officio members.

Brijesh Chowta is among the Lok Sabha members selected for this role. Expressing gratitude for the appointment, Chowta remarked, “This is a unique opportunity for me to contribute to national defence, both as an ex-serviceman and as a Member of Parliament.”
