Mangaluru: Mumtaz Ali, brother of former MLA Moidin Bava and MLC B.M. Farooq, has gone missing under mysterious circumstances, raising several questions.

Ali’s car was found in an accident near the Kulur bridge in Mangaluru. His family has filed a missing person’s report at the Kavoor Police Station.

Mumtaz Ali, who managed the Mangaluru Line and Marine Industries, sent a voice message to the family’s WhatsApp group around 3:30 AM on Sunday (Oct 6). When his daughter checked the message at 4:40 AM and attempted to find him, they discovered his car at the Kuloor bridge, damaged from an apparent accident. However, Ali was not inside, leading his family to report him missing.

A search operation is currently underway in the Kuloor River.
