Mangaluru: Newborn found abandoned at Service Bus Stand passes away

Mangaluru: A newborn baby found abandoned at the State Bank Service Bus Stand a month ago, died on March 14.
The baby boy, estimated to be a week old, was found abandoned near a light pole on February 16. The bus drivers who noticed the infant alerted the police.
Locals said they saw a man and a woman carrying the infant at the bus stand earlier in the afternoon.
The Pandeshwar police who rushed to the spot took the newborn to the Lady Goschen Hospital, which had referred it to Wenlock Hospital for advanced care.
