Mangaluru: The city police arrested nine more persons in connection with the medical students drug case.
The arrested are identified as Dr Vidush Kumar(27), Dr Sharanya(23), Dr Siddartha Pavaskar(29), Dr Suryajithdev(20), Dr Aysha Mohammed(23), Dr Pranay Nataraj(24), Dr Chaithanya R Tumuluri(23), Dr Sudheendra(34), Dr Ish Midda(27).
The arrest was made on the charges of consuming and peddling drugs, police said.
It may be recalled that Mangaluru City Police had recently arrested over 10 persons, including an overseas citizen of Indian origin, a medical surgeon, and a medical officer, on charges of consuming and peddling cannabis (aka marijuana, ganja).
