Mangaluru: No deferment in MESCOM bill payment

Mangaluru: Mangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (MESCOM) has stated that it will not be allowing postponement in the payment of bills by consumers.

Earlier, reports had emerged that there might be deferment in bill payments till June 2020 due to complications arising out of the national lockdown.

However, MESCOM clarified that there will be no such deferment as it has not received any notification regarding it by the Ministry of Power.

MESCOM added that if consumer’s do not receive a bill they can know their bill amount by calling their helpline number 1912 or by visiting their website www.mesco.in.

Consumers can also pay through PayTm, Bank UPIs or through BBPS platform or they can also visit their nearest sub-divisional office, it further added.
