Mangaluru: Except in Puttur, all government bus services in the district were operating as usual showing no effect of the transport workers strike entering the second day on December 11.
The KSRTC bus depot at Puttur did not see any strike on December 10, however, on Saturday morning depot employees did not arrive for work.
KSRTC Divisional Controller and the depot manager arrived at the depot to supervise the situation.
In Mangaluru, however, since 8 am, more than 80 buses left for their designated destinations.
The officials here informed that there has been some problems in the buses arriving at Mangaluru from Bengaluru, Mysuru and Davanagere but otherwise bus services are operating normally in Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.
