D.K. District Superintendent of Police, C B Ryshyanth, sternly emphasized that gambling, particularly rooster fights locally known as “Koli Anka,” is strictly prohibited under the law. He clarified that there is no provision within the legal framework to grant permission for organizing rooster fights.
In a press conference, SP Ryshyanth urged the public not to approach police stations seeking permission for such illegal activities. He underscored that engaging in rooster fights is against the law, and individuals involved in organizing or participating in such events will face appropriate legal consequences.
SP Ryshyanth warned that strict legal action would be taken against those found conducting rooster fights in the future.
