A 19-year-old nursing student named Sachin Saju, hailing from Alleppey, Kerala, has taken his own life by hanging in his college hostel in Mangalore.
Sachin, a first-year nursing student who recently secured admission in a private college in Mangalore, had been facing health issues, causing him to miss classes for two consecutive days. On December 8, he tragically ended his life by hanging himself using a bed sheet in his hostel room, which was unoccupied at the time.
The Mangaluru rural police have registered a case to investigate the circumstances surrounding the student’s suicide.
