Mangaluru: One dead, two injured after two-wheelers hit stationary truck

Mangaluru: One person was killed and two others were injured after their scooters collided with a stationery truck on the Netravati bridge on Thursday, February 23.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammed Naufal (26), a resident of Angaragundi. Pillion rider Ummer Farukh was seriously injured.

It is said that the truck was aprked on the bridge after it suffered a break down.

The incident occured when both scooter riders were travelling from Pumpwell to Kallapu Global Market to purchase vegetables.

A case has been registered.
