Mangaluru: One killed after Omni collides with two-wheeler

Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a two-wheeler rider was killed after being hit by an Omni car near Akashbhavana in Mangaluru.

The deceased has been identified as Sadaqat (40).

The victim was returning home on a two-wheeler after attending a mosque event around 11 pm on Friday when an out-of-control Omni rammed from behind. Sadaqat was seriously injured in the incident and was rushed to a hospital. However, he died on Saturday without responding to treatment.

A case has been registered at Mangaluru North traffic police station.
