Mangaluru: One person arrested with MDMA

Mangaluru: CCB Police apprehended one person for peddling MDMA in a car.
The accused has been identified as Muhammed Arif (28), a resident of Boliyar in Ullal.
Acting on a tip-off, the CCB Police conducted the operation at a location on the KIDB road in Kambalapadavu Mudipu resulting in the arrest of the suspect.
During the arrest, MDMA weighing 25 grams and valued at Rs 1,25,000/-, was seized from the suspect’s possession. Police also confiscated his Maruti Alto 800 car, a mobile phone, and a digital weighing scale. The total value of goods confiscated is approximately Rs 6,35,500/-.
A case has been registered at the Konaje police station in this regard.
Police said that Arif has been previously booked for cattle theft at the Konaje police station.
