Mangaluru: Passenger suffers serious injuries as bus jumps over road hump

Mangaluru: A passenger was left seriously injured after the bus jumped at a road hump in the vicinity of Vamanjoor.  The incident occurred on Saturday, leaving the victim identified as Pradish (50), in serious condition.

According to sources, Pradish was on his way to BC road and was sitting in the last seat of the bus, which was traveling from Moodushedde towards Mangaluru. As the bus reached the RTO stop at Vamanjoor around 9:15 am, the driver drove over the hump, causing Pradish to fall inside the bus and get hit by an iron rod.

A case has been registered at the Mangaluru Traffic South Station.
