Mangaluru: Changes have been announced to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s planned program in the city slated for April 14. The Public convention announced earlier has been called off, instead, the Prime Minister will hold a roadshow in the city the same day.

According to party sources, the decision to switch to a road show was made due to the tight schedule and to reduce election-related costs. The roadshow is scheduled to commence from Narayan Guru Circle and culminate at Navbharat Circle.

On Monday, V Sunil Kumar, BJP’s state general secretary had stated that PM Modi will hold a public meeting at Goldfinch City Grounds in Bangra Kulur, which has now been cancelled.
