Mangaluru: Police intervene in ‘confrontational’ BJP-Cong victory celebrations

Mangaluru: Police had to intervene after workers of BJP and Congress slogan shouting and victory celebrations outside vote counting centre here reached ‘confrontational’ levels.
BJP MLA Umakanth Kotian and Youth Congress leader Mithun Rai were present with the workers outside the centre.
Police entered the spot and managed to separate the party workers and supporters away causing a verbal altercation between Rai and police officials.
